Projectmanagement
The (re)build of a vessel is a complex task that demands dedicated project management. Careful preparations, precise planning, ongoing insights via progress reports, cost management and supervision – all these activities must be properly aligned, including the necessary inspections. Together these various aspects determine the ultimate success of a project.
SRF uses all its long experience to ensure a constant overview is maintained, with full control and complete compliance with agreements. An excellent end product and satisfied clients are the outcome.
Steelwork
SRF provides all types of steelwork for new builds, renovations and repairs in-house. From the placement of a completely new superstructure to a hull extension or bowthruster installation, our staff will perform all these activities and more with the utmost care and precision. We also work with aluminium, stainless steel and various composites.
Technology & Electronics
Properly functioning, well-chosen technologies are essential for your vessel. The power supply should be meticulously aligned to the increasing number of consumers found on vessels today. That’s why SRF pays extra attention to the ‘technical setup’ in the pre-trajectory phase.
Our Technology department installs equipment, engine pumps and electrical components in the engine room and other technical spaces. During assembly we prepare for the installation of equipment and pipelines, including for the fuel, lubricating oil, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Everything is placed exactly where it needs to be.
Our Electronics department is responsible for making the preparations for all the power onboard. Activities include placing cable ducts and various electrical systems, such as the AV installation and switchboards. We can also renew the electrical system on your current vessel in accordance with the very latest guidelines and expectations so that it fully meets your demands.
Carpentryw
