Cruising Home B.V. is a subsidiary of SRF and develops and builds (the only) seaworthy custom-built CE houseboats in the market that also sail like a motor yacht. The unique split-level layout offers about 30% more space than competing houseboats of the same length and width.

The CH Explorer 1500

This CH Explorer 1500 is already the 10th ship built by SRF for Cruising Home.
This ship is characterised by its sublime cruising characteristics, huge interior space, high-quality finish and state-of-the-art technical equipment.

Inside out, outside in
The extra rooms below give you much more space than other houseboats of the same length. The huge side windows can lower automatically, creating a huge indoor-outdoor experience and the living room suddenly becomes a huge covered terrace. The large sliding doors fore and aft only enhance that feeling. On board the CH Explorer you will find several lounge decks.

In terms of technology and comfort, the owners have not skimped. From underfloor heating to a chiller system and from stabilisers to a DockSense Control system. It can be found on board this ship.

Also in terms of self-sufficiency, the ship is equipped with a biological waste water cleaning system, water maker and solar panels that charge the lithium battery pack.
